Extream Medical Fixators
The external fixator is a equipment which holds bones in stress, allowing for regeneration of otherwise unfixable fractures. The technique was pioneered by Ilizarov, but didn’t reach the West until the 60s after it as used to heal an Olympic athlete.
These pictures are incredible, and they represent medical ingenuity complete with “cyborg” gadget fetish appeal. Although they are used to heal people, they are, however, applied to people who have suffered terrible trauma.

Oh! i think its quite painful for the patient too as it is quite painful to see. I hope that these medical fixes would get better and less painful then they are now.
